Blood sugar & inhaled steroids

I think my nebulized steroid is wigging out my blood sugar. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this. I kind of thought this only happened with oral steroids.

When I wake up in the morning, I have to make myself eat because I kind of feel a bit nauseous, but I know if I don’t eat that I’ll have a horrific blood crash mid morning.

So I eat my normal breakfast which in the past has staved off blood sugar crashes I think because it’s low-carb (coffee + 12 oz soy or almond milk + 10 oz V8 = 300-350 calories), but still have a horrific crash a few hours later.

I don’t technically have CFRD, so the symptoms I’m reporting are just anecdotal. Although, based on glucose tolerance test results in the past, I’ve learned that if I feel like my blood sugar is low, it’s VERY low. I’m not sure what high blood sugar feels like or what you do if it’s only high fasting and maybe only while I’m on steroids?
