In the squirrel world, fatness is directly related to cleverness.

Saw this little (fat) guy out my window this morning whirling the squirrel feeder. I was surprised because I didn’t think they’d be able to get to all the corn.

Matt has been strategically deploying squirrel feeders because the little boogers keep digging up his garden and eating his bulbs/etc. in an effort to preserve the fruits (and vegetables) of his labors, he decided to give them a more enticing snack than what’s growing in the garden.

Everyone wins. Except the neighbors, because they probably aren’t pleased with the growing squirrel population hanging around our block.
